โตโยต้า แต่งตั้ง “กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่” คนใหม่

บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด  ประกาศแต่งตั้ง มิจิโนบุ ซึงาตะ ขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่ง “กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่”  แทน  เคียวอิจิ ทานาดะ ซึ่งหมดวาระและได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็น “ที่ปรึกษาบริหาร” บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์  คอร์ปอเรชั่น โดยมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 เมษายน 2560 เป็นต้นไป

เคียวอิจิ      ทานาดะ ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง “กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่” บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด ในปีพ.ศ. 2552 และบริหารงานภายใต้ประสบการณ์การทำงานในประเทศไทยอย่างยาวนาน สามารถผลักดันให้ บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด คงความเป็นหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย และก้าวสู่การเป็นหนึ่งในฐานการผลิตที่สำคัญของโตโยต้าในระดับโลก และในปี 2555 มร. เคียวอิจิ      ทานาดะ ได้รับการแต่งตั้งจาก บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์  คอร์ปอเรชั่น ให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง “เจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร” ทำหน้าที่ดูแลการดำเนินงานของโตโยต้าในประเทศไทยและในภูมิภาค ซึ่งสามารถสร้างรากฐานที่มั่นคงให้กับบริษัทฯ และให้การสนับสนุนบริษัทในเครือของโตโยต้าในภูมิภาคนี้ ที่สำคัญ  เคียวอิจิ ทานาดะ เป็นผู้ริเริ่มและส่งเสริมโครงการสำคัญต่างๆ มากมาย อันเป็นประโยชน์ให้แก่องค์กรและประเทศ อาทิ ส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมการทำงานแบบไทย ทั้งผลักดันผู้บริหารชาวไทยครอบคลุมงานบริหารสายงานหลัก ส่งเสริมบรรยากาศการทำงานภายใต้วัฒนธรรมแบบไทย ด้วยการริเริ่มนโยบาย “3ส” ประกอบด้วย สวัสดี สบายดี สนุกดี เพื่อเสริมสร้างความผูกพันระหว่างพนักงานกับองค์กร ทั้งผลักดันและส่งเสริมผู้บริหารชาวไทยครอบคลุมงานบริหารสายงานหลักเป็นครั้งแรก

 การส่งเสริมให้ประเทศไทยเติบโตและพัฒนาขึ้นอย่างยั่งยืนผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการผลิตที่สำคัญที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของโตโยต้า และมีส่วนสำคัญในการทำให้โตโยต้าครองความเป็นหนึ่งทางด้านการขายและการส่งออก ทั้งนี้ ในปี พ.ศ. 2555 มร. เคียวอิจิ ทานาดะ ยังได้รับตำแหน่ง “ประธานหอการค้าญี่ปุ่น” ซึ่งตลอดระยะเวลาการดำรงตำแหน่ง ได้มีส่วนสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะกับตัวแทนจากหน่วยงานและนักลงทุนจากประเทศญี่ปุ่นให้มีความเข้าใจในสถานการณ์อันแท้จริงของประเทศไทยในช่วงเหตุการณ์การเปลี่ยนแปลง และในช่วงระหว่างการเกิดวิกฤติสำคัญต่างๆ 

ด้วยความผูกพันกับประเทศไทย  เคียวอิจิ ทานาดะ มีความมุ่งมั่นในการสร้างความสุขสู่สังคมไทย ทั้งเป็นผู้สนับสนุนการทำกิจกรรมทางสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่อง เช่น โครงการโตโยต้าธุรกิจชุมชนพัฒน์ โครงการถนนสีขาว เมืองสีเขียว ที่สำคัญยังเป็นผู้ริเริ่มกิจกรรมที่สร้างความสุขให้กับคนไทย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการสนับสนุนกีฬาฟุตบอลอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ  อาทิ การเป็นผู้สนับสนุนโตโยต้า ไทยลีก  โตโยต้า ลีกคัพ และ โตโยต้า พรีเมียร์ คัพ รวมถึงกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความสามารถของเยาวชนไทย ทั้งโครงการค่ายศิลปะสู่เยาวชน

ทางด้าน มิจิโนบุ ซึงาตะ “กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่” คนใหม่ ปัจจุบันอายุ 56 ปี จบการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยโกเบ และเริ่มต้นการทำงานกับ บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เมื่อ พ.ศ.2526  ระหว่างการทำงาน มร.มิจิโนบุ ซึงาตะ ยังได้ศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโท หลักสูตรบริหารธุรกิจมหาบัณฑิต จากมหาวิทยาลัยวอชิงตัน รวมถึง เคยได้รับมอบหมายให้มาปฏิบัติงานที่ประเทศไทยในฐานะ “ผู้ประสานงานกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่” รับผิดชอบดูแลทางด้านการตลาดที่ บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2549 – 2551 และล่าสุด ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง “เจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร” บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น รวมถึงดำรงตำแหน่ง “กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่” บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด โดยมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 เมษายน 2560 เป็นต้นไป

Toyota Motor Thailand Announces New President

Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. officially announces the appointment of     Mr. Michinobu Sugata as its new President, replacing Mr. Kyoichi Tanada who has completed his term and is appointed as the Advisor of Toyota Motor Corporation, effective from 1 April 2017 onwards.

Mr. Kyoichi Tanada was appointed as the President of Toyota Motor Thailand    Co., Ltd. in 2009. He has fully leveraged on his long-standing business management experience in Thailand to continuously sustain the company’s top rank in the Thai automotive industry as well as promoting the firm to become one of Toyota’s key global automobile manufacturing hubs. Furthermore, in 2012, Mr. Kyoichi Tanada was appointed by Toyota Motor Corporation as the Managing Officer, overseeing Toyota’s operations both in Thailand and other countries in the region. By this position, he has not only laid a strong foundation for the company, but also fully supported Toyota’s affiliates in the region. More importantly, Mr. Kyoichi Tanada has initiated and promoted a wide range of important projects which are beneficial for both the organization and the country, for instance; 

Encouraged Thai-style working culture and promoted highly capable Thai executives to be responsible for the company’s key organizational divisions

Mr. Kyoichi Tanada has fostered happy work environment in accordance with the Thai culture by initiating the “3S” policy; which includes Sawasdee, Sabaidee and Sanookdee, to strengthen employee engagement. Additionally, Mr. Tanada has been a strong supporter for promoting highly capable Thai executives to manage the company’s key organizational divisions for the first time. 

Propelled Thailand towards sustainable growth and development
He has advanced Thailand to become one of Toyota’s key global automobile manufacturing hubs and played a significant role in sustaining Toyota’s leadership position in terms of vehicle sales and export. In 2012, Mr. Kyoichi Tanada was also appointed as President of Japanese Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure, he put in a great deal of effort to develop amiable international relations, specifically with representatives from Japanese organizations and Japanese investors, by ensuring that they had clear comprehension of the situation in Thailand whenever the country reached social critical points and experienced major crises.

Committed to driving mobility of happiness for the Thai society
Having a strong bond with Thailand, Mr. Kyoichi Tanada has been firmly determined to create happiness for the Thai society by continuously supporting a myriad of social contribution activities, for example Toyota Social Innovation, Toyota White Road and Toyota Green Town. More importantly, he initiated various activities to create sheer happiness for Thai people, specifically with his full support for football by sponsoring the Toyota Thai League, Toyota League Cup and Toyota Premier Cup. He also played an integral part in enhancing the skillsets of Thai youth by launching Toyota Art Camp Project.   

Mr. Michinobu Sugata, the incoming President of Toyota Motor Thailand Company Limited is now 56 years old. After having graduated from Kobe University, he began his career with Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan in 1983. During his work, he also took a course for the Master of Business Administration at University of Washington in USA. Additionally, Mr. Sugata had a work experience in Thailand as the Executive Managing Coordinator for Marketing Division at Toyota Motor Thailand during 2006 – 2008. Recently, he is appointed to a Managing Officer at Toyota Motor Corporation as well as the President of Toyota Motor Thailand.

Consolidated by rigorous work excellence in the field of overseas and international affairs for over 30 years, this would offer him an insight into global operations. Mr. Sugata will definitely be able to apply his experience in the global operations in breadth and depth to propel Toyota Motor Thailand to continue achieving a further growth as well as to become at the forefront of leading organization that strives to grow together with the Thai Society.
